NV Log certified as CO2 neutral company MyClimate Suisse

By voluntary, NV has been certified Log MyClimate Switzerland for 2011. MyClimate is a nonprofit organization based in Zurich, and engaged in voluntary contributions, to save the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) produced by the company in a climate protection project, approved by independent experts. 

All projects for climate protection are implemented by qualified partners and their performance is regularly monitored. They meet the criteria of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) defined by the Kyoto Protocol and / or those of the Gold Standard.Besides the CO2 savings, they must provide additional benefits to local people, such as the creation of jobs, transfer of know-how or improving local environmental problems. 

The portfolio compensates MyClimate Switzerland CO2 emissions NV SA Log in at least half in climate protection projects in Switzerland, the rest is offset in climate protection projects in developing countries and newly industrialized countries. All projects reduce emissions by replacing fossil fuels harmful to the climate by renewable energy or energy efficiency technologies effectively. 

Thus, with this contribution, the CO2 emissions below the business activity in 2011 will be compensated: 

- Issues of various t. 0.006 

- Emissions restoration 1.635 t. 

- Issues of mobility 16.197 t. 

- Emission energies 2.806 t. 

Total: 20.644 tonnes
